5 virtues of Ramadan




The holy month of Ramadan is the ninth month of the Hijri calendar. The month of
Ramadan is also the month most missed by Muslims and many call it the month of a thousand months. And do you know, especially in the month of Ramadan, the goodness of the Muslims will be rewarded with double blessings of merit? Even if we are fasting perfectly, when the day of Eid comes, we will be clean from sin like a new born baby again.   1. The month of descending the Qur'an

The month of Ramadan is a glorious month. Why? Because in this month the first time the holy book of Muslims Al-Qur'an was revealed. As it is written in Q.S Al-Baqorah 185 that Allah praised the month of Ramadan from other months because this month was chosen as the month of descendence of the Qur'an.



 2. Charitable deeds doubled

In a hadith it is said that the month of Ramadan is the time when we draw closer to Allah SWT then the value is equal to seventy times that of the obligations performed in other months. In this month of Ramadan, Muslims are competing in goodness and doing other sholeh practices.



 3.The moon is full of blessings

This is the reason why Ramadan is also called a thousand-month night. Because when a Muslim does a good thing in the month of Ramadan, he will get a blessing that is worth the same as a thousand months.



  4.The month of forgiveness of sins and the     grace of prayers

In a Hadith History Bukhari explained that every Muslim the opportunity to gain as much reward even with perfect worship in the month of fasting will make us return like a newborn baby. In the month of Ramadan as well, Allah says that every prayer that is promised will surely be granted.



  5. There is a Qadar Lailatur night

Tonight is a night that is desired by every muslim during Ramadan. The night in one of the last 10 days of Ramadan is the best night filled with good prayers and miracles can descend on the night of Lailatul Qadar.



After knowing the 5 virtues of Ramadan, surely we become more enthusiastic to worship and continue to do good to others. Let's compete in goodness in this month of Ramadan so that the world we live in can be more secure and peaceful.
